× Err....what can I say.....it's been nearly a
year since the last update. "Why?" you ask?
Laziness, I suppose. Also, there hasn't been
a whole lot to report as far as Poor Old Lu is
concerned. Some things have happened, however,
with us members since the last update. For
those of you who haven't heard, Nick and his
wife, Jen, had their first child last October
(October 6th, actually)! His name is Ethan
Abraham Barber!!! He's a good kid. In fact,
he was dedicated just a few weeks back. Also,
my wife and I (Scott) had our second child
back on February 17th! Her name is Trinity (yes,
as in "the Matrix"...) Lorraine Hunter...and
she's the most beautiful child ever! We have a
small website devoted to our lil' family here -
feel free to browse thru (keeping in mind that
it's updated about as frequently as this site!)
Aaron has also released another album....very
good stuff...you should definitely check it out!
And Jesse? Sweet Jesse? He's still hanging
out in New York with wife and child, but....
× In band news: ...we're hoping that they'll move
out here. It'll take some doing, but if all goes
well, they'll be visiting again in December (for
3 whole months) AND, Lord willing, be living out
here after that. We can only hope...and pray...
× In webpage news: Not much. I apologize that
the page was down (for about a week), but these
things happen. It should be up and running full
speed now (with a few fixes here and there).
× Beyond all of this: Well....I can't really
say. The four of us got together last week to
talk about things...and we came up with some
ideas. The truth is, folks, we'd love to do
another album....and we may be able to. Don't
anyone get their hopes up, 'cause it would be
difficult with all of our schedules/families/
etc.. Let's just say we've been discussing it.
We'll see what the Lord does....

× Well, folks, the time has come...
the time that I spoke about over the last few
updates....the Online Store is closing down.
Now, before you get all bent out of shape, please
understand that this is quite possibly a tempor-
ary arrangement -- seeing as Aaron might take it
over. Time will tell, I suppose. For now, though,
the store is done and we appreciate every single
order that has come thru. My wife and I (Scott),
who've been running the store and the website, also
appreciate the patience that many of you have
given us as orders have been late -- sometimes
VERY late! It has been a blessing (and at times
a curse), but the Lord has seen us through. And,
although we aren't completely sad to see it go
personally (we'd love to have more free-time),
it will be missed. What does this mean for the
PoorOldLu.com website? Nothing. The store has
closed down, but the rest of the site will remain
perfectly intact -- with potential for more updates!
